So morning came and I went to the front desk to see if this was all true and I was handed keys to the new room!! I was extremely pleased that Todd really went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and that our stay was the best that it could be. I was skeptical at hearing this because I had been falsely led so far in this process. ![]() Todd assured me that everything would be completely straightened out in the morning and that he would go ahead and make the changes needed so that we could move into the room we originally requested, only on a different level as soon as the room was cleaned the next morning. At 4am, after no phone call, I went down to the front desk and talked to a desk clerk whose name was Todd. I immediately made a phone call to the front desk and was told that my call would be returned and never was, after waiting in our room all evening. Upon arrival, we were given the furthest possible room from the parking. From the very first phone call in which we made the initial reservation, we let them know that we were regulars and reminded them that my husband was an amputee and that we needed to have a room close to the parking accommodations. So glad we didn't stay there the whole time.įrom the moment we called to make the reservations, when they called us back to confirm, and when we checked in, we had been given 3 different answers/confirmations by 3 different people at 3 different times during this process. Spent the rest of our 5 day trip in north myrtle beach and had a great time. We checked out early and went to another hotel. By the second night I was so appalled I couldn't sleep all night. They took forever because there weren't many. The elevators were so tiny and smelled and were dirty. ![]() Clean our room duh!!! You should know your responsibilities with daily cleaning not me! And then there was the walkways to our room. When I called down, the same lady who answered earlier gave me an attitude and asked me what exactly I wanted them to do. Well we went to dinner and came back around 9 pm and the room still wasn't clean!!!! All they did was drop off a bag of towels. Housekeeping never came to clean our room the first day so when I called they acted like they would be right up. The man cooking at the pool had gloves on but he was touching everything and didn't change his gloves. Our socks were turning black when we first got there. The kitchen had food on the refrigerator and in the microwave the floors must not have ever been mopped in both the kitchen area and the bathroom. When we arrived to our room, we noticed how dirty the room was. The kids water park was nice and they had a dj playing. We waited a few hours for our room and enjoyed the pool. When we arrived we saw the run down "resort" but decided to still give it a shot. I was initially excited to stay at this hotel with my husband and 2 year old daughter judging by the website photos. ![]()
